What we collect: A unique device identifier that is preserved between app reinstalls
Why we collect it: To track your daily and monthly usage limits
How we collect it: Generated securely on your device
Analytics and Advertising Identifier
What we collect: Anonymous usage statistics and a unique advertising identifier (Advertising ID) generated by your device
Why we collect it: To understand how users interact with our app, identify crashes and technical issues, and improve app performance and user experience
How we collect it: Through Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics services
Data collected includes: App usage patterns, crash reports, device performance metrics, and anonymous user behavior data
How We Use Your Information
Location Data
Used exclusively to:
- Generate accurate astrological charts at the moment of your question
- Provide personalized astrological insights based on celestial positions relative to your place on Earth
Device Identifier
Used solely to:
- Manage your usage limits within the app
- Maintain consistent service across app sessions
Advertising ID Usage
Our app integrates Google SDKs (such as Firebase and AdMob) which may access your device’s Advertising ID, depending on your region and privacy settings.
We use the Advertising ID for the following purposes:
- Analytics: To anonymously measure app performance, usage patterns, and engagement
- Developer Communications: To group crash reports and technical issues for faster resolution
No Direct Targeting or Profiling
AstroGPT does not directly use the Advertising ID for personalized advertising, marketing campaigns, or user profiling. Any use of the Advertising ID for ad delivery is governed by your consent and handled by Google AdMob SDK in compliance with your regional privacy laws and preferences.
Your Control
You can reset or limit the use of your Advertising ID at any time via your device settings:
Settings > Privacy > Ads (on Android devices).
Consent Management & Revocation
AstroGPT complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and other supported regions.
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage user consent for data collection and advertising identifiers. When the app is first opened, users located in regulated regions will see a consent form allowing them to:
- Accept or reject the collection of data for analytics and ad-related purposes
- Customize their preferences regarding data use
Revoking Consent
You may change or revoke your consent at any time by navigating to the Privacy Settings section in the AstroGPT app and selecting “Manage Privacy Preferences.”
This will reopen the consent form and allow you to update your choices.
Consent management is handled using Google’s UMP SDK.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your Choices
You can deny or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
If you revoke location permissions, the app’s functionality will be limited as accurate astrological readings require location data.
You can limit analytics data collection by resetting your Advertising ID or enabling “Opt out of Ads Personalization” in your device settings.
You can manage or revoke your consent to data collection via the Privacy Settings section of the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the application.
