The Chart of Your Question
Horary astrology doesn’t look at your birth chart. It casts a chart for the moment a question is asked and reads the answer from it. AstroGPT does this in a chat: the chart is calculated exactly, and AI interprets it by the traditional rules.
From Question to Answer
What happens between typing your question and reading the verdict.
- 01
You open a chat
The app notes the time (UTC) and your location from the phone. That moment is the “birth” of your question.
- 02
The chart is cast
Planet positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris: tropical zodiac, geocentric, Equal houses measured from the Ascendant — or, in Vedic mode, sidereal zodiac (Lahiri) and whole-sign houses from the Lagna.
- 03
AI reads the chart
An AI language model gets the chart and your question, and reads it by the rules of traditional horary: house rulers, dignities, aspects — or by those of Vedic Prashna.
- 04
You get the verdict
The answer leads with the verdict, then the reasoning. Ask follow-ups on the same chart for up to an hour.
“Will I get the job I interviewed for?”

Significators
The querent: Scorpio rises, so Mars (16°56′ Cancer), with the Moon (14°40′ Cancer) as co-significator.
The job: the 10th house has Leo on its cusp, so the Sun (14°02′ Virgo).
Considerations before judgment
- Ascendant at 8° — neither too early nor too late
- Moon not void of course — it conjoins Mars next
- Moon outside the Via Combusta
- Saturn not in the 1st or 7th (it is in the 6th)
Testimonies
- For: The Sun applies to a sextile with Mars, orb 2°54′: the significators of the querent and of the job will meet.
- For: The Moon has just separated from a sextile with the Sun (0°38′) and next conjoins Mars (2°16′): it translates the light of the job to the querent.
- For: Jupiter, the greater benefic, is in the 10th house close to the Midheaven: the career side of the chart is favoured.
- Against: Mars, the querent, is in its fall in Cancer (though in its own triplicity): the querent feels on the back foot.
- Against: The Sun is peregrine in Virgo: the job is real but may offer less than hoped.
JUDGMENT
Testimonies lean toward yes: the significators perfect by sextile and the Moon carries the light between them. Mars in fall and a peregrine Sun suggest the terms may be less generous than hoped.
Timing: the sextile is exact on 14 Sep 2026, eight days after the question, so news within a week or two is the natural reading.
The Chart Is Exact
- · Planet positions from the Swiss Ephemeris, which reproduces NASA JPL’s planetary ephemeris to well under an arcsecond.
- · Western: tropical zodiac, geocentric positions, Equal houses from the Ascendant; Sun to Saturn, plus Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron and the true Node; major aspects and parallels between them.
- · Vedic: sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa), whole-sign houses from the Lagna; the nine grahas, Rahu and Ketu included, with nakshatras, padas, graha drishti and dignities.
- · Retrograde motion flagged in both.
- · Your location sets the Ascendant, so a city-level fix is enough: a few kilometres move it by a fraction of a degree.
The Reading Is AI-Written
The judgment — which house rules your matter, how strong the significators are, whether they meet — is written by an AI language model instructed in the principles of traditional horary astrology: house rulers, essential dignities and aspects. In Vedic mode it follows Prashna instead: the Lagna and its lord, the bhava of the matter, the Moon and graha drishti.
Like any astrologer it can misjudge, and it words each answer anew, so asking twice won’t give identical text. That’s why every answer shows its reasoning. Take it as a traditional reading offered for reflection and entertainment, not as advice.
