No. Horary uses the chart of the question, not your birth chart, so AstroGPT never asks for your birth data.

One concrete question about a matter you genuinely care about right now: "Will I get the job I interviewed for?", "Should I accept this offer?", "Will we sign the lease?", "Where is my lost ring?". Very broad questions, two questions in one, or questions about other people’s private affairs are hard to judge.

Traditionally, no: ask again when the situation has changed, not because you didn’t like the answer. A repeated question gets a new chart, and the tradition holds that it says less than the first.

It is not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser, and it won’t predict death, trading results or lottery numbers. AstroGPT is for reflection and entertainment only.

When you start a chat, the app takes the current time and your location and calculates the chart with the Swiss Ephemeris, which reproduces NASA JPL’s planetary ephemeris to well under an arcsecond. It uses the tropical zodiac, geocentric positions and Equal houses from the Ascendant, with the Sun, Moon and planets out to Pluto, Chiron and the true Node.

The Ascendant and the houses depend on where on Earth the question is asked. The app reads your location from the phone when you start a chat; a city-level position is plenty, since a few kilometres move the Ascendant by only a fraction of a degree.

The chart is calculated, not generated: the positions are exact. The reading is written by an AI language model instructed in traditional horary astrology, and each answer explains the houses, rulers and aspects it relies on so you can follow the reasoning. Like any interpretation it can be wrong.

The sky moves: the Ascendant changes sign roughly every two hours. You can ask follow-up questions about the same chart for up to an hour; after that, start a new chat and a new chart is cast for the new moment.

Yes, there are free questions every day, and you can earn extra ones by watching a short ad. AstroGPT Pro, a subscription, raises the daily limit.

Your question, its time and location are sent over an encrypted (TLS) connection and stored securely to produce and show your answer. To write the answer, the question and its chart — but not your name, email or exact location — go to our AI provider, OpenAI, which doesn’t use them to train its models. We don’t sell your data.
